Running takes you places. Physically, mentally, emotionally – the journey of a runner can’t be measured in miles alone. Project Transcend is Mount to Coast’s way of sharing individual runner’s journeys with the global running community, and to help bring their ideas to life, we’re offering to provide shoes, gear, promotion, and potential financial support. We’re open to any type of project so long as it aligns with our ambition to transcend distance. How are you going to go beyond?
Existing Projects
Since Mount to Coast came to market in the spring of 2024, we’ve helped runners across the world to share their stories. Some highlights include:

Cam came to our attention when he was running the perimeter of the United States. Over nine months, he covered 11,170 miles, developing a loyal following on social media and in real life, and inspiring people every step of the way. We’ve helped to make films on his journey, and even created a signature R1 for his supporters.

In the spring of 2025, Mason Wright is running 430 miles across Utah in support of the Single Parent Project. He’ll be averaging 55 miles per day and will experience nearly 50,000 ft of elevation change in this arid desert state. “The odds may not have always been in my favor but here we are, ready to take on what seems impossible,” he says. “I want to show that even when you come from depths of life, you can achieve your dreams.”

In the summer of 2024 Anna joined a film crew to run 100 miles through the northern Norwegian archipelago of Lofoten, highlighting the need for sustainable tourism. It was her longest ever run, but it left her awestruck: “Lofoten is the most beautiful place I have ever been to,” she says.

In March 2025, Chase Bandolik set out to run over 400 miles from Cairo, Illinois to the Wisconsin border, completing an epic 416-mile journey. His motivation? Family. The run was dedicated to supporting his mother, a single mom who raised five children while working multiple jobs. Battling physical exhaustion and swollen feet, Chase pressed forward mile after mile with purpose and grit.
